About us
TaleemPK is an academic support platform serving students, teachers and educational institutes across Pakistan. The platform brings together study notes, past examination papers, results, date sheets, assessment tools and a peer discussion system in a single, structured environment.
1. Purpose
Academic resources relevant to students in Pakistan exist, but they are dispersed across numerous sources of inconsistent quality and reliability. TaleemPK was established to consolidate this material into a single platform, organised by examination board, class and subject, and to connect students with peers studying the same curriculum.
2. Services provided
- Resource library. Notes, past papers and study guides, indexed by board, class and subject.
- Results and date sheets. Published for each examination board covered by the platform, verified against the relevant board's official source.
- Question and answer system. A structured mechanism for students to submit academic queries and receive verified responses.
- Study groups. Closed or open discussion spaces with their own posts, scheduled events, announcements and rules of participation.
- Assessment tools. Quizzes with automated marking and explanatory answers.
- Pages. Dedicated profiles for academies, individual teachers and subject-specific channels.
- Private messaging, including an optional end-to-end encrypted mode.
- Academic tools: an aggregate calculator, a study planner and an individual performance record.
3. Cost to students
Access for students carries no charge. There is no subscription tier, no restriction on the volume of material that may be downloaded, and no alteration made to material a student uploads. The platform's revenue sources are disclosed in full at Advertising and partnerships.
4. Commitments
- Personal data is not sold. This applies without exception, to advertisers, institutes, or any other party. This commitment is given binding effect in the Privacy policy.
- User-submitted material is not used as advertising inventory.
- The platform does not produce academic work on a student's behalf. The applicable standard is set out at Academic integrity and is enforced.
- Statistics published on the platform are drawn directly from platform records and are not estimated or represented for effect.
5. Governance and moderation
The platform is operated by a core team supported by moderators drawn from the user community. Every moderation decision is subject to appeal, and each appeal is reviewed by a person other than the individual who made the original decision. This is a procedural requirement of the appeals process, not a discretionary courtesy.
6. Contact
All correspondence is directed through the support desk. This channel is available to signed-in and signed-out users alike, issues a reference number for every submission, and is reviewed by a member of the team. No alternative contact address is published, in order to ensure that correspondence is tracked and does not go unanswered.
